Dear Bjarne,
   I have the strongest possible faith in the ability of humans to do wonderful 
things, but it's still hard to believe that that gorgeous gown is the work of 
human hands in the year 2005! If I hadn't been fortunate enough to watch it 
being built patiently, piece by lovely piece, I'd be even more amazed than I 
am. It embodies not only your knowledge and your skill but also, quite 
obviously, your heart. Thank you for sharing this complex and wonderful project 
with all of us. May 2006 be as great for you as the work you do.
