Doesn't look well boned enough for the period! That and it's fitting wonkie
through her mid section, which also could be the result of not enough
boning.
I hate it when modern veiws are voiced in period movies.
Like a woman in the 18thC would think about going without her corset in
public if she was of society. it would be considered loose, or beneath her
station, unfashionable. Most of society was trying to appear higher than
their station.
Sure we complain about our bras, but the idea of comfortable clothing is a
really modern idea...like less than 40 years.

I'll still see the movie, I enjoy the comedic plotline.
My spouse even wants to go!
