I wore out a second hand Toyota doing lots of stupid over the top
stuff--it lasted 6+ years and cost ~$120. I then got a White from
JoAnn's for under $200 and it is running strong--and the def. feed is
sooo nice! And it is easy to thread at 2am with a deadline looming.
Both are small footprint machines.
I sew heavy dog gear so YMMV. I figure that if I get 3-5 years of
heavy use out of the White it's a good deal.
