Ok, I'm not in the US, and don't work in dollars, but I'd consider 100 pounds (gbp) to be incredibly cheap - whether I could afford it or not.
Something can be a lot of money, but if it's worth it, I don't think it's expensive (like the cooking knife sets that Todd makes - the top ones are about 400 quid, but for 4 or 5 hand made knives, it's a very good price (like I said, whether I can afford it or not - (decidedly 'not' right now, cos of not-quite-falling-down-house)!!!)
