The MEDATS meetings are notorious for including wonderful-sounding papers that vanish into the ether afterward; very few seem to find their way into print. If you look over the archives at the web site (http://www.medats.org.uk/archive/archivefs.htm), the lists of past presentations are absolutely mouth-watering. We here at MC&T ;-) hope to help to improve this situation at least in part. A member of our board is a MEDATS officer, and we're making very clear that we would like to get some of those papers into print. And in fact, one of the articles we've scheduled for volume 3 is from a recent MEDATS conference. I hope there will be many more! --Robin ========================================================== Robin Netherton Editor, Medieval Clothing and Textiles [EMAIL PROTECTED] voice: (314) 439-1222 // fax: (314) 439-1333 Life is just a bowl of queries. _______________________________________________ h-costume mailing list [email protected] http://mail.indra.com/mailman/listinfo/h-costume
