All too complicated and expensive to copy, I fear. What about the Spanish ones that seemed to just be decorated with ribbon loops and metallic lace? #38.135a I saw a pair faked for film made of bought leather work gloves with a cuff added made of a brocade enhanced with a little seed pearl embroidery, some bullion and spangles and lace. Just enough hand work to make the things look worked to death when mixed with the brocade. Looked great. I loved the knitted ones supposed worn by Cardinal Richelieu. I loved the iconography embroidered on just the top of the hand of the left glove. A great detail to use on a costume. _______________________________________________ h-costume mailing list [email protected] http://mail.indra.com/mailman/listinfo/h-costume
