I discovered this magazine in the mid 1990s, They are doing for the needle
arts what we of h-costume hope we are doing for fashion and textile arts.
Every issue deals by history or handiwork what is being passed down or
rediscovered by folk such as we are or hope to be.
>From time to time I have passed on to the list current articles that by
>serendipity or from my own interest, that seem to deal with topics of interest
>to H-costume. Whether it be 'nal binding', blackwork, the language of
>clothing,or maybe "Taste, Art, and Design in Great Britain from 1500 to 1900",
> or other topics dealing with piecework from the far distant or near
>remembrances of past present, this one publication helps to keep me not only
>informed but inspired to learn past and new ways of manipulating the textiles
>I love.
