If you do a google *image* search [put tippets in your search box, get your results, and then click on the image link above the search box] you'll get a page that shows some other gowns with tippets -- including this paperdoll site http://www.gallimauphry.com/PD/gawain/gawain.html and this Ready-To-Wear-Garb site http://www.revivalclothing.com/catpages/cat_womenssilkwardrobe.htm her tippets are white, and look like an add-on, but Robin's research indicates that this probably isn't the case.
