With the Centauri the elements seemed more baroque and rococo that flowed
into a Napoleonic style towards the end. I would say that the Centauri
cultural look was French based. I like B5 over Star Trek with costume
representation of alien race is that though both show a style, B5 had
wonderful variations of that style, so that you didn't have clones walking
in the background. So that to me it made the story much more believable.

Someone certainly had a lot of fun developing the style for the Centauri!
Lots of Renaissance elements in that.

But I frankly think the Narn are the most ambitious. The clothes look like
nothing at first glance, but there are many subtle details. I'm not even
sure what color they are -- they're all combinations and textures.
