The same goes for Book Collector; you just enter the ISBN number if the book has one, and it does the search. You can even chose which online sources it pulls info from. For example, if you lived in France, you could chose the French amazon.com for info, while I do the American one. I can put in personal notes, synopsis, how much it cost me, where I bought it from, how much it is currently worth, have I read it or not, who has borrowed it, what kind of review rank I want to give the book, different categories, does it have a dust jacket or CD or what have you, and even customizable info that I chose. Lots of info, about half of it pulled in from whatever online sources are available, and the rest filled in by me. In some ways it may be an overload of info, but I rather like that.
