A while back, I scanned a ladies' wrapper image out of a Delineator magazine to work on. I put it in a file for Nov. 1897. The original color on the image was only printed in blue. I wanted to try to paint the image for the missing colors. Last week, I worked on it for a complete day and threw my back out while working. I finished the image today, and went to look in the magazine for the description and found out that the image isn't from the Nov. issue. I believe it must be from somewhere in the 1896-1898 issues of the magazine. I have checked all my issues and can't locate it.
If you have Delineator magazines from this period, would you please check and see if you have this image in it. I am so upset that I put this much work into an image and can't locate the issue of the magazine that it is from. I have put a copy of the image online at: www.costumegallery.com/1897/dress3med.jpg Penny E.
