Just wait 'til they issue the "study guide" for teachers to use in class! Oy!

It looks like the film makers have ignored the rigor and rigidity of the
protocols of the French Court to an extent. Oh well....it might be fun. We'll
see.

And I saw a full page ad in the New Yorker for the HBO "Elizabeth I". It is
a beautiful photo of Helen Mirren and Jeremy Irons....in bed. The tag line is
"The hardest thing to govern is the heart" Yuck! [I guess it won't be until
1912 that mankind learns "the heart will go on."]

He looks very good in a lovely doublet with some very un-Elizabethan
looking embroidery around the armseye....????????...never seen that before.
Still,
it's lov-er-ly.

The Queen...that's the Queen mind you... is in her Dorothea corset....no
doubt fresh from "The Tudor Tailor" :-) and chemise. Uh huh. And earrings. The
Queen wears her corset and earring to bed?

I love advertising!
