Would the books by Maria Schuette: A Pictorial History of Embroidery (the
little one) or the huge two volume tombstone variety be of interest? The
local County Library has the big ones and I intend to take my digital camera
and a friend to photograph each page this summer since they are way too
large to go on any Xerox I've ever been allowed to use. I also have the AGI
Christie: English Medieval Embroidery that I got ILL and Xeroxed then
scanned in.

I have slides of all the photos in Christie (and digital of the text). Now that there is a scanner I can attach to my laptop I can scan them all in. Once that project is done I can see about burning CDs of it.

For the photography I recommend getting your hands on a tripod. It will save your back. For the slides of Christie, I was the tripod, and my back has never forgiven me.
