It discusses popular forms like Melodrama [you know what that is] and  
Pictorial Drama [which emphasizes accuracy and design....but then wait til  you 
see 
their mid 19th century versions of "MacBeth" and "Hamlet"....accuracy in  the 
19th century mind.] It's not til the 1880s that "Cup and Saucer" drama comes  
in....and is a new sensation because it deals with reality. Much  stylization 
is evident in pre-Stanislovsky stage  work.
