(pre shrunk trim) I had to redo the sleeves and bodice so it is just pinned together so that I can redo the alignment. This was hard to do cause I wanted to match the pattern exactly all over. It needs to be pressed. The bodice will be attached to the skirt. The skirt for ease has a temporary waist band that will come off later. I need to redo the underskirt. It is a cream linen that is very light weight with a very subtle pattern of lines in it. I love how it feels! I predict that it will be August before I can get back to it so for now she sits and the fabric is hanging well. (I just got an order for 2 pairs of gloves for a reanactment display at Plymoth that I am very excited about. I will have to start a journal for them cause I have always dreamed about making a pair of gloves from the King James era, those gloves are to DIE for!!!) Grant it the fabric has been on her for a while now so the it should not pull when I put a lining in it. The lining has been hanging for a while too ... sigh.
