It looks like 1879-1882 with the very deep point yet cut high on the hips. The bottom of the bodice sits below the waist of the bodice too. The half length sleeves and the way the bodice is lined also suggest this later date. There are fish darts at the waist which is interesting. The extra room at the back under the point suggests a bustle, so it could even be a little later. http://www.antique-lace.com/date2/2207/2207.htm This is a similarly shaped bodice which buttons up the front as well. The darts always go to the front if there is a mix of darts and seams. It looks like the sleeves curve slightly towards the buttoned side. A very sweet simple bodice. Is there any evidence of any trim being removed? There ought to be something at the sleeve openings anyway.
