My Nana could knit and crochet (and was the best dressmaker *and* tailor I've ever seen, as well as being an incredible cook and baker - aren't some people just annoyingly talented??!!)
My mother, although useless at sew-y things (she broke sewing machines) could knit and crochet without having to really think about either. Personally I'm useless at knitting and crochet. (Am *slowly* teaching myself to knit, and have just about got casting on and plain stitch and a couple of others sorted. Haven't yet worked out casting off yet though, as am not up to there yet!) Oh, and I like the beatles and elvis (which comes from dad being beatles fan, and mother being obsessed with elvis).
