Hi Sylvia No (short answer) long answer comes here ;-) The core is hollow. It is a more advanced model of the papertape dummy, someone on this list has the link for ;-) Basically I got a rough sewn jersey tee on, and the teacher covered me in three layers of brown papertrips and glue. The mold was then cut off me and left to dry till the next day. Then we had to cut it down, so that it was 5 cm less than our target measures, then pad it up to 3 cm less than target measure by smoothing out hollows and bumps with more brown paper trips and glue and pieces of newspaper. I also added 3 layers of brown paper to the inside of the dummy, to increase the strength. It also have some braces on the inside to stiffen it as well. Tania
