I received an email this morning from someone who has some things to
give away for the price of postage.
"I have just finished sorting and
organizing all her quilting fabric, tools, books and thread. ... Do you
have any suggestions as to giving away the quilting thread? In addition
there is a collection of antique thread from my great grandmother. It is
from the early 1900's. She was a commercial seamstress and made the
clothes for most of the family back then. Is antique thread ever used
for decorative stitching or used in restoration? I would be happy to
pass it along to someone or an organization that could use it. "
