True. And a tumble in the dryer will fluff up the nap. If you washed it in  
cold water, and set the dryer to medium or low heat [you want some heat 
however]  it shouldn't shrink up too much. If you press it, and don't have a 
needle 
board,  fold the fabric nap to nap so you are pressing the wrong side and the 
nap is  against more nap, instead of a flat surface. And don't press down  hard.
