You WOULD brag about this!! Take me with you. Is this an annual event at
the same time every year? I trust you have worked out a suitable headdress.
I do, of course, want to hear about it. Does this group have a website? :)

This is the place we are dining
http://www.touruk.co.uk/houses/houseyorkshire_merchants.htm and the
society is the Richard lll Society,
http://www.richardiii.net/begin.htm who are holding their Annual
General Meeting there this year. They usually have it in York every
other year. Two years ago I was invited to be one of the lecturers,
which I enjoyed, and the dinner that year was held in Barley Hall
http://www.barleyhall.org.uk/ where I ate more of my veil than my
dinner, hence the request for a substitute. The headdress is
wonderful and works really well, but as I am getting deafer, the bits
over my ears cause me to miss parts of conversations, and the beaded
veil someone sent a picture of
http://www.artrenewal.org/asp/database/image.asp?id=14601 will be
ideal. (It should be light enough, and the beads may well hold it
down enough so as not to strain my potage! (We have proper medieval
recipe meals!!)
