I'm a little late in answering this, but in case you haven't found it...
You can find old web pages using the Way Back Machine at www.archive.org
Just type in your URL in the search box (without a dot after html) and
you'll get archived versions of the page. The images aren't all there, but
it's better than nothing, and you get the biography to tell you at length
who's designed the website (which you seemed to be looking for).
" Mein Name ist Maike Vogt-Lüerssen, geboren wurde ich am 24.3.1956 in
Wilhelmshaven, Norddeutschland." and etc.

Subject: [h-cost] Looking for German Royalty History Website
There's a website that was in German, and had all sorts of information and
images of royalty and common people, such as Kathe von Bora; one of the
URLs I have for it is
http://www.asn-ibk.ac.at/bildung/faecher/geschichte/maike/bkatalog.html.
However, it's no longer there, and I can't remember the name of the person
who put it all together - if I remember correctly, she wrote several books
in German about royal figures who lived during the 16th century,
especially from the Hapsburg family. Does anyone know if it still exists
at another location, or if all those wonderful images and historical
tidbits are gone forever.
I'd appreciate it very much if you could also cc me in private, since I
check this list on an irregular basis. Thanks!
