Interesting observation about the similarities of this show and A Knight's Tale....... Funny fact is the girl playing the romantic lead "Henriette" was the female Blacksmith _IN_ "A Knight's Tale"...



THANK YOU! I knew I recognized her, but I *could not* place her, and I didn't recognize or catch all the names of people in the credits, which went by too fast anyway. :-)

I agree with the previous critics -- great entertainment, but even a clueless costume fan like me can tell that it's a modern interpretation designed to appeal to modern audiences who are *not* costume experts. Lovely colors and fun hair styles. The one gown that Henriette wears (green?) could have used something under it though -- the hoop made such a sharp line.

What is with that black neck wrapping, anyway? He wears it with every single type of outfit, from ball-fancy to prison wear. It made me think he must have a big tattoo there, or something!
