My Mom and Dad used to be firefighters. I was talking with Mom tonight and
she said asbestos was in their suits in the early to mid 1960s. But the
uniforms my have been purchased used. With mercury and asbestos in
textiles...gosh, I don't want to suit up in a hasmat uniform to work in the
fashion collection. I don't think cotton gloves would protect me from these
problems.
