Diego's Balboa Park could help. "region's only museum devoted to 
anthropology-as well as arts, culture and scientific achievements"

2001-02 titled Extreme Beauty: The Body Transformed which listed a rare 16th c 
iron corset.  The Museum at FIT (Fashion Institute of Technology)
