That's why I thought about combinating plastic and metal. At least for the back 
and the front of the corset I'd use something like spring steel and for the 
rest either plastic or spiral steel. I don't have any experiences with spiral 
steel boning, so I don't know which one (spiral steel or plastic) will be 
better for my purpose. The spiral steel is probably good for very curvy seams, 
but I think a man's figure will never get very curvy, so I don't know whether 
that would be necessary. What do you think?
