This will be our first CostumeCon, too. My daughter submitted a few designs,
and my husband and I decided it would be a nice, fun gift for her to
go--it's her senior year of high school, and she has been working hard. She
is making an "updated" Empire-style dress with a leather coat, and I don't
know what else yet.
We are both *very* excited about Robin's lectures, and are looking forward
to meeting some of the faces behind the names here (and the f-costume list,
which Emily is on).

P.S. Does anyone know if there are other youngsters like her at CostumeCon?
I was hoping she wouldn't be the only one her age there.
