Of course not all individual mourning doves are the same color.
 
But "dove" is more than likely a pale grey on the warm side....towards pink  
or peach [as opposed to yellow]. I have a "Godet  Americanized Paris  
Fashions, 1863" print of a "Dove" jacket with a pale pink silk skirt. The 
jacket  is a 
pale ,warm grey-pink. Of course these are hand colored so....it's still an  
interpretation. But gloves are often referred to a "dove" and are usually  
depicted as pale grey.
