Dear Lauren,I use a sharp pencil, og the kind with long sticks of crayon you refil your pencil with, i think its 0,5 mm. As i always embroider to the edge of the pattern, the thread wil cover the pencil line, and therefore it is no problem with it.
Thats my way of doing it!
