Thank you very much!  Your description matches what I thought but I needed
to validate my memory.  And between the bluish gray and the rosy gray I had,
the rosy one was a nicer color and better on the skin than the other one.

As for dove gray or dove grey:

"Names of Colors and Their Meaning" Sears & Roebuck Catalog, 1929, defines 
dove gray as:
"gray with rose tint, one shade lighter than shadow."
