I once had a co-worker (male) who was both red-green AND
blue-yellow color blind. We had to come up with creative ways to

describe things, as he pretty much saw things in greyscale. His wife
labeled all his clothes so things would match, and he wore lots of
neutrals (black and khaki).

My very good friend who is blind uses a system we invented for her
clothes. We call it GrrMonsters (after the old children's line -
GrrAnimals). We just use all ribbons in varying widths and textures
(pico edge, grosgrain, satin, double face satin). So, all pico-edge
1/4" ribbon GrrMonsters go together. The monster mostly indicates the
color scheme. Mummy is those neutrals & beiges. Kraken is the deep
sea colors like aquamarine. Nyarlathotep is jungle green & coral.

Now to add some h-costume content: I finally got pictures of my early
Stuart gown and the crazy wig when I wore it this weekend.
