I have a roll of hat material. It looks like straw wich is wowen by the yard, but its not natural material. It is used by hat makers. I use it for hats two. When you combine this material with dress material and hat wire, you get a nice result.
I live in Denmark, and dont know the english word for the material.

Subject: [h-cost] Regency Hats and Bonnets

Hello all

I was wondering if anyone could share any knowledge or tips about making
repro regency hats and bonnets. I have tried a number of things over the
years, from buckram brimmed to altering straw hats but I have never been
happy with any of my efforts. I'm looking to make something subtle, as I'm
not generally a 'hat' person, but I would also like it to be unusual and
interesting.

Any help/advise/suggestions/comments would be much appreciated.

Thanks
