Hi Linda, further to Mike and Bjarne's comments, I tried a little experiment and found the easiest place to hide a letter 'about my person' was between my shift and corset.Stevie Davies, 'Unbridled Spirits, Women of the English Revolution: 1640-1660 is a very useful source.
