Yeah, but it is HISTORICAL fantasy in that the events that are the catalyst  
for the whole thing concern real people [Richard the Lionhearted and King 
John]  and events [the crusades] so there's no excuse for nutty costuming. It's 
like  saying "Gone With the Wind" should just ignore hoop skirts. [Indeed, for 
the  time that film was made, the costumes are very accurate]. Robin Hood  is 
really only like 65.02% fantasy. I mean, is one going to have it take  place in 
the period or not?
