I would've said a Beau Brummel, except for the fact that dandies (despite
what we think of them today) were a movement AWAY from Foppism TOWARDS more
mnaly fashions. Go figure.

Except that the Beau placed great importance on good grooming, cleanliness,
shaving, etc., and impeccable tailoring and fit. He also didn't seem
particularly interested in women, but wasn't overtly gay. He probably is a
pretty
good comparison. Metrosexuals weren't really effeminate.
