What would you do with this fabric. http://www.saragrace.us/images/Fabrics/index.htm<http://www.saragrace.us/images/Fabrics/index.htm>
The first, I have 3 yards of, and it is 54 inches wide. It is a silk
brocade. I
was thinking about making something like a pet-en-l'air, (French Jacket) as found on page 30 of Arnolds Pattern's of Fashion 1.
S-G, If you do the 1880s it would make a charming jacket to a walking suit. The early 80s are particular prone to earth tones like this.
The second may be harder. It is tapestry, also 54 inches wide. I have a little over 2 yards. I love this fabric, but it is a little bright. The second picture gives you the best sense of how bright it is. It is
'reversible,' but I > am not sure I like the "wrong" side enough to not line it. But I have no idea
what it is appropriate for.
Oooh, I'd redo the upholstery on my dining room chairs, except that I just did that last summer. --cin Cynthia Barnes [EMAIL PROTECTED] _______________________________________________ h-costume mailing list [email protected] http://mail.indra.com/mailman/listinfo/h-costume
