somebody on another list passed this message on from a sewing machine collector's email list http://www.ismacs.net/digest.html (sorry, I don't know where the original message might be archived) and knowing there are several UK based costumers on this list so I'm passing it on in case anyone is interested.

Further to my post of 12th June - concerning my offer of my late mother's Jones Treadle sewing machine marked "Medium CS" - dated 1921. I regret that there has been no response at all from the U.K -( from where it will need to be collected free of charge.)

This causes me some concern as I shall need to dispose of it soon - and I do not want to see such a well kept, much cherished, machine scrapped!

I enclose details again - in case they may have been missed by a UK interested party on the previous occasion.

The machine was my mother's wedding present in 1921. It has the serial number 92129. It is in full working order and is in good condition as it has been a family heirloom.

Hoping that there is still a chance that the machine will find a good home?

Regards Don Holdsworth
