I have nearly 50 new India Cotton prints now available on my Web
site, http://www.timetraveltextiles.com. In celebration of the new
shipment, all are $12 a yard.
Also, for those of you in the Boston, Massachusetts, USA, area,
Melinda Williams of Sari Safari (http://www.sarisafari.com) will be
returning to Cambridge for a trunk show on Saturday, July 7, from 2
to 7 pm. This will be a wonderful opportunity to see beautiful
traditional regional weavings from India in cotton and silk. I have
learned an immense amount about the nature and differentiation of
fabrics in a pre-industrial textile manufacturing economy from seeing
and handling these saris, and recommend the experience to anyone who
is interested broadly in what cloth was like before the Industrial
Revolution. I can also go on about what I mean by this at greater
length than is fair, so I will shut up now! If you are interested in

will also be in Chicago and New York that week, and if you are in
