How do you use blueing? I have some in my cupboard.
Thanks, Aylwen

2A - Old fashioned bluing. The blue will cancel out the yellowing
and make the fabric appear whiter.
2B - Sorry, don't know that one.

Subject: Re: [h-cost] Ironing (Was Linen Shir)t
I do have a couple of question about ironing.
2. I had some 100% white cotton Priscilla curtains that I need to
iron. I
paid a lot of money for these curtains and really love them. In
the past
years, I starched them to remove the wrinkles. The last time that
I washed
them, they were yellowed from the starch. I bleached them but
can't get rid
of the yellow tinge.
2A. Is there another way to get rid of the yellow tinge?
2B. Is there something other than starching to assist keeping the
curtains
crisp longer?
