I have a friend in New Orleans. She is a fabulous costumer--does wonderful embroidery and embellishments--mainly late 19th and early 20th c. And she has started making repro. shoes. I can forward your contact info. to her if you'd like.
She also does vintage dance, WW I, is a musician, and works at a museum. There are several vintage dancers in the New Orleans Area, not sure how active they are for events.
