What beautiful pictures! The young lady in light green looks particularly exquisite.
I notice some of the gentlemen have moustaches or small beards. Is this correct for the period? I once spent a year in Lausanne, Switzerland, where the local patriotic hero, Major Davel, is always shown with a powdered wig and a small moustache. I thought this odd, because I've never seen facial hair in 18th century British portraits. Perhaps it was a Continental fashion?
