Interesting. I have a minimal figure and wear a bra for appearance rather than necessity (don't fancy Penny's sticking-plaster idea!). I always choose underwired styles so that if I slip out from underneath it holds its shape and I can shrug myself back in! I've never had a problem with the wires poking out.
