Fashion_, by Ludmila Kybalova et al. (It's a  translation.) 


That is the book we used as the text in our college class, back in  1972.  I 
still have it, too.  It has chapters on different topics with  quickie 
definitions that I sometimes find useful.  The course instructor  wanted a book 
with 
lots of pictures for the money.  She only taught the  class every other year, 
to both home economics and theater majors.
