Hello De ,

thanks for doing all this research -- I have now done some myself.

(looots of other links, and this one)

My still-fiance has pretty much told me that what he would like is the
"1790's Frock Coate' 1837 - 1890" from this page, but they are saying
on their main page that they (Harper House) have just changed hands
and moved and might not have all items ready for shipping.

http://www.lostcoasthistpatterns.com/Menspatterns.html seem to carry
the same frock, but the e-mail even bounced.

At a closer look, there doesn't seem to be that much out there!
Everybody is carrying items by everybody else -- this frock for
example is by Tailor's Guide, so I thought I'd ask them directly.

In fact, I've only found a few online pattern shops which have their
own patterns for this period:

Tailor's Guide http://www.tailorsguide.com/
(http://www.tailorsguide.com/images/f-coat.html)

Rocking Horse Farm (http://rockinghorse-farm.com/ ) -- but they are
closed until end of October

Kannik's Korner have a few interesting things at
http://www.kannikskorner.com/patmen2.htm

and of course Past Patterns, but at
http://www.pastpatterns.com/men.html, nothing resembles that style.

Does anyone on this list have any experience with these businesses?
(if not, I'll probably be the first one). I myself have already traded
with Past Patterns, and the service was prompt and very good. Even as
I'm ordering from outside the country.

btw... oh yes... has anyone made any of their patterns and can point
to pictures? It would be great to see them made up.
