It's interesting, but no one knows about it and personally, I consider it very good, actually I haven't found anything better on the subject (if anyone knows about something, please tell me!).
Notice that when you've subscribed you can very cheaply buy the older magazines, each year in a book (Jahresband). One for 20 euros or something. You'll soon realize that you'll need the basic patterns = slopers, and you can buy the Jahresband that involves it (for dress, I guess it's 2003, for example). But you can call them and ask them, they'll tell you exactly. The more magazines or "Jahresbände" you have, the better for you. Once upon a time they publish things like adjusting a pattern for a complicated figure and all the details you need to know about drafting, and the more information you have, the better you get. And you have me all excited -- while I was living in Germany, I haven't even noticed the Rundschau myself, and now I'm about to go and subscribe to one of their magazines -- have already subscribed to burda fashion patterns magazine ( http://www.burdamode.com/Magazines,1270777-1000019,enEN.html, but actually the German one), but these ones http://www.intelligenzbestien.wz.cz/images/rundschau.pdf hit even better the point of what I need. Well, potentially. I do translations of the Spin-Off magazine by Interweave Press ( http://www.interweave.com/spin/spinoff_magazine/default.asp) -- the other way, from English into German -- on a voluntary basis. I'm also happy to help! _______________________________________________ h-costume mailing list [email protected] http://mail.indra.com/mailman/listinfo/h-costume --------------------------------- Be a better Heartthrob.
