One year I wore my prettiest mostly courtly/romantic
looking garb to work on Halloween and everyone thought
I was a nun.
I feel your pain. I wore a regency dress as "Emma" one year. I was
asked if I was Amish.
Yeah... I went to the medieval fair in Bayeux one year and I was wearing RED
tunics. I was greeted with "Bonjour ma soeur"!
And then there's the time I was invited to a medieval wedding... the groom
was wearing a tricorn hat :-/
