Heh. I think the word may be "nuts", at least in my case...or at least biting off more than I want to chew. I can't do multiples of the same pattern - I get bored just doing the same pattern on two ends of these scarves! Every one - if ever ever I finish them - will be different, and therefore I will still like them when I'm finished. <G>
I've been offered goof money for custom pieces, but I find I just can't get into the embroidery if I HAVE to do it. Guess if I'm ever gonna get rich (hah!) will have to do the work first, and sell it later.... In a message dated 11/23/2007 4:01:20 PM Eastern Standard Time, Good heavens! How ambitious! I don't know how others feel about making multiples--one year, I decided, since money was tight, to make our three ministers identical pieced stoles--I had all the silk at home already in all the liturgical colors--red, green, purple, and cream. I worked out my pattern, and the first one was fun, But by the time I got to the third one! Knew I had to keep going, but I really didn't want to.
