It's the weekend falling over Saturday, May 8, 2010. I know this only because
Henry Osier, who is planning the con, asked me to speak there, and I needed to
know the date to make sure it wouldn't conflict with the Medieval Congress at
Kalamazoo. (It's the week before the Congress that year, which will mean a
whole lot of driving and not a lot of sleep for me in that two-week period!)
When I couldn't find the date on the CC28 website, I pointed out to Henry that
it might be a wise idea to add it. That was months ago, and it doesn't appear
that the site has been updated, despite what I know were his best intentions.
Henry has a livejournal where he's reporting progress on con plans, but the
date isn't there either! Perhaps if enough people complain, he can get his web
person on the ball.
