I have a last minute 1820s ball dress to make for a Jane Austen performance Sunday, found a great dobby weave silk today! Really similar in weave to an original 1825 antique dress I have. Last night I was fitting my lining on myself while watching project runway, it seemed so appropriate to be scrambling to meet a sewing deadline while watching the show.
