that these two mentioned really are wonderful.
Nevertheless, this is not what I am looking for, I probably didn't express
myself very clearly...:-) I would like to find the companies that manufacture
all these things, that means, I'd like to find a place where all these retail
stores take their goods from. A quite hard-to-find information, I admit, that
no one wants to tell you. Many of the bones etc. are made somewhere in Germany,
but God knows where. I've only found this company, which I regard to be quite a
success:

But they make just steel bones and spiral steel (but the spiral is quite
expensive), and plastic bones - these not useful rigilene things. But the bones
look quite good (about 0,6 euro/m - 8mm bones).
I know busks and maybe spiral steel must be made somewhere else in Germany. And
the goods from VenaCava are maybe from America, but I am not sure.
I think that if you want to go into some business in costume making, it really
is good to take all the things most directly as possible. But it might be also
useful for anybody who makes costumes, as making a hoop skirt requires quite a
lot of boning and the pice differences are very important.
